June in a nutshell
July 1st, 2008Rome
It was my first time in Italy, and I can’t believe I waited so long to visit this unbelievable country. Rome in general reminds me of Madrid, it is a lively city with people everywhere. In three days I was able to visit the most important places, but I left the city feeling that I didn’t see or couldn’t enjoy all the nice places. The funniest thing could be to see the Spain against Italy match and to be the only one supporting Spain :) hehehe, ESPAÑA!!!! :)
You could see the rest of the pics here: Roma album
Esch sur sûre
There is a saying here like that: “the life is two days, and in Luxembourg one day is always raining” , so, I decided to spend the last Sunday morning resting and swimming in the Lake, the perfect way to prepare for the great Eurocup final.
The Final - Eurocup 2008
One more, Luxembourg council prove that they have enough budget to spend :) We had a huge screen and entertainers in order to watch the final of the Eurocup, It was amazing, a nice excuse to meet all the Spanish community, to watch the match and after that to celebrate the victory.
Updating my life’s story
May 26th, 2008Building my castle
Well, it was something that I was looking forward to doing that since I came back from Norwich but logically it was impossible in Spain but here…. you know, Luxembourg is different :) I will move to my new apartment in December, of course, if I don’t have too much delay, I will keep my fingers crossed.
Rescue Diver
A blog is not only for nice things, also for experiences that could change your life. Doing the practices to get my 3th dive level, my buddy and me had a grave accident, as grave that my buddy had Pneumothorax and air embolism being at death’s door. I had much more luck and just I got a huge fright, I will never forget this moment. During the days that my buddy was in the hospital I was thinking to give up everything, the rescue course and the dives. But finally I decided to go on and don’t be afraid, I’ve learnt the lesson and now, I’m happy to get my rescue license and to have the knowledge enough to be able to help to others if I have to face up again with something like this.
Everything is diferent underwater….
Nice’s trip
Second dive trip with the dive club of my work, it was so good. I enjoyed a lot with them under and above water :)
Visit of my siblings
Coinciding with my first year in Luxembourg I got the visit of my siblings, the weekend was not as good as I thought because I had to work almost everyday, but trust me, we’ve done a lot in a short time. The day I was off we went to Brussels, here a few pics.
